Alf Engen (1909-1997) was a professional skier both in the United States and internationally. Alf Marinius Engen was born on May 15, 1909, in Oslo, Norway to parents Trond Sorli Engen and Martha Maranda Oen. He came to the United States in 1929 from Norway, and already had a skill in ski jumping.
